Police responded to reports of copper theft, hit and runs, late night “Ding Dong Dash” and camping in the woods. They also assisted neighboring police with “man with a knife” report.

Friday, January 17, 2014:
- 0217 hrs- An officer on patrol checked on a suspicious motor vehicle parked at Fitzgerald’s Store on Southville Road. The officer reported back that the vehicle checked out ok.
- 0258 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
- 1039 hrs- A business owner on Cordaville Road reported that seven trash cans filled with copper data wire were taken from the business. An officer responded to the scene and took a report on the incident. The larceny is currently under investigation at this time.
- 1055 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Sears Road residence.
- 1219 hrs- Officers investigated a landlord/tenant dispute at an Oak Hill Road residence.
- 1330 hrs- A motorist from Methuen, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Attaching Plates.
- 1610 hrs- A resident found a credit card and turned it in at the police station.
- 1716 hrs- A medical was reported at a Marlboro Road residence.
- 1716 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Valley Road residence.
- 1808 hrs- Officers responded to a Park Street residence to investigate a report of a verbal domestic in progress. The two parties were located and separated for the evening. No charges were filed on either party.
- 1856 hrs- An officer investigated a report of two, suspicious motor vehicles parked on William Colleary Lane. The vehicles were located and both checked out ok.
- 1957 hrs- A motorist requested that an officer check on a suspicious “light” on the side of Turnpike Road. The motorist reported passing this area, and was concerned that they may have struck something/someone on the side of the road. An officer checked the entire area and reported back negative findings.
- 2012 hrs- A medical was reported at a Middle Road residence.
Saturday, January 18, 2014:
- 0503 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Southville Road residence.
- 0809 hrs- A resident from Strawberry Hill Road requested the Animal Control Officer, after finding a Barn Owl stuck inside their screened-in porch area.
- 0959 hrs- The DPW was notified that the roads required treatment.
- 1025 hrs- SPD began a funeral escort from Morris Funeral Home on Main Street.
- 1110 hrs- An iPhone was found at a Pine Hill Drive business. The phone was brought to the station by the reporting party.
- 1124 hrs- A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
- 1136 hrs- SPD was notified that there would be solicitors in town today.
- 1221 hrs- Officers responded to a one car, motor vehicle accident on Wyndemere Drive. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
- 1237 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Cordaville Road.
- 1347 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident near Southville Road. A follow-up investigation revealed that the accident had taken place in Hopkinton. Hopkinton Police were notified.
- 1351 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Main Street.
- 1409 hrs- A resident of Oregon Road reported that a plow driver had just struck their fence. An officer responded to the scene and took a report on the incident.
- 1453 hrs- Officers responded to a one car, motor vehicle accident on Parmenter Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
- 1939 hrs- Marlborough Police requested Southborough Police check for a male party walking South on Route 85. Responding officers checked the area and reported back negative findings.
- 1941 hrs- An officer gave a courtesy transport for a male party walking on Turnpike Road.
Sunday, January 19, 2014:
- 0850 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Framingham Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
- 0936 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Pine Hill Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
- 1014 hrs- SPD was notified that a vehicle parked at a Breakneck Hill Road residence would be repossessed today.
- 1100 hrs- Ashland Police requested assistance from Southborough Police for a ‘man with a knife’ call in their town.
- 1311 hrs- Officers investigated a report of a Parkerville Road resident snow-blowing snow out into the plowed street. The responding officer checked the area and reported back negative findings.
- 1549 hrs- A medical was reported at a Deerfoot Road residence.
- 1910 hrs- A medical was reported inside a vehicle on Turnpike Road.
- 1955 hrs- Officers responded to Old Harry Road to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the reporting party’s driveway. Officers determined that the vehicle belonged to an individual that was visiting a neighbor.
- 2047 hrs- A medical was reported at a North Street residence.
- 2202 hrs- An officer responded to Woodland Road to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle parked under the overpass. The responding officer reported back that the vehicle had left the area.
- 2300 hrs- An officer responded to Turnpike Road (at the Framingham town line) for a motor vehicle vs. dog accident. The accident was found to be in Framingham (FPD was notified), and the deceased animal was found to be a deer.
- 2304 hrs- Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle parked on Southwood Drive. The vehicle and the occupant were located and checked out ok.
- 2315 hrs- An officer responded to Austin Kelly Lane to investigate a report of a group of kids ringing resident’s doorbells. The responding officer reported back negative findings in the area.
Monday, January 20, 2014:
- 0450 hrs- An officer investigated a report of a motor vehicle vs. deer accident on Pine Hill Road. The accident was found to have taken place in Framingham, and Framingham Police were notified.
- 0720 hrs- A medical was reported at a Middle Road residence.
- 0827 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
- 0846 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Northboro Road business.
- 1116 hrs- A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road business.
- 1150 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at Neary Elementary School.
- 2018 hrs- A motorist from Shrewsbury, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Registration; Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle; and Defective Equipment.
- 2322 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Main Street business.
Tues. 01/21, 2014:
- 1026 hrs- Officers assisted a Red Gate Lane resident with a child custody complaint.
- 1039 hrs- Officers conducted a requested well-being check at a Middle Road residence.
- 1121 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Latisquama Road residence.
- 1156 hrs- A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road business.
- 1545 hrs- Officers investigated a report of two males camping in the wooded area near Crestview Drive. The male parties were located and asked to leave the area.
- 1758 hrs- A medical was reported at a Jericho Hill Road residence.
- 1822 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Northboro Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
- 1828 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
- 1907 hrs- A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
- 2143 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Oak Hill Road.
- 2144 hrs- A medical was reported at a Pinecone Lane residence.
Wednesday, January 22, 2014:
- 0902 hrs- An officer responded to a Cordaville Road residence with the Fire Department, to investigate a report of a chimney fire at the residence.
- 1140 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Northboro Road.
- 1329 hrs- Officers investigated a report of a Hit & Run at a Cordaville Road business. The suspect was later located in Hopkinton by Hopkinton Police.
- 1447 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Marlboro Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
- 1653 hrs- Officers conducted a requested well-being check on a Marlboro Road resident.
- 1704 hrs- Officers investigated a Hit & Run accident on Framingham Road. The responding officer took a report and will conduct a follow-up investigation.
- 1756 hrs- A medical was reported at a North Street residence.
- 1950 hrs- Officers checked on a suspicious motor vehicle parked on Lynbrook Road.
- 2257 hrs- ARRESTED: A Marlborough woman was charged with OUI Alcohol and Marked Lanes Violation.
