The Labich family of 7 Garrison Lane in Southborough will host a Multiple Sclerosis (MS) charity yard sale on Saturday, June 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m – just off Oregon Road.
The cause is a personal one. Michelle Labich has a family member who was diagnosed with MS fifteen years ago. Since then, the family has worked to raise funds for research and support services.
In the past they participated in MS 50 mile walks. This year, Michelle and her husband, Bob Labich, will be riding in the MS Cape Cod Getaway 150 mile Charity bike ride in late June from Boston to Provincetown.
The yard sale is part of their fundraising for the ride. All proceeds will go to the national MS Society.
According to Labich, 25 families have already donated items. Items are still being accepted throughout the week.
Still needed are furniture, bikes, household items, clothing, shoes, boots, and sports equipment. (Please – no stuffed animals, games, or puzzles.)
