Northborough-Southborough has another case of H1N1 virus (swine flu), bringing the total in the district to three. Superintendent Charles Gobron confirmed the case in a letter home to parents on Friday. The letter did not name the school or give any details about the affected student.
Two students — one at Trottier and one at Algonquin — were confirmed to have the H1N1 virus earlier this month.
At a recent school committee meeting Gobron said parents were “very understanding” after the first cases were announced. He said the administration received only two or three calls from parents. He also said school nurses have been “phenomenal” in responding to the threat.
