Events this week (7/28-8/3/14): Plays all around, plus library programs for kids

Here are highlights of what’s happening around town this week. For more details and the full list, check the Event Calendar.

Tuesday, July 29, 2014:

• Legos at the Library (10:00 am – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Stop by the library anytime during the day for some Lego building fun! Legos will be provided but need to remain at the library. (Parents or caregivers must stay with children.)

Wednesday, July 30, 2014:

• Drop in Craft Day (10:00 am – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Stop by the Children’s Room and make some fun craft projects! (Parents or caregivers need to stay with the children.)

• Pajama Story time (7:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Come to the library in your pajamas to hear stories! This event will be held outside on the lawn, weather permitting, so bring a blanket. (In inclement weather, it will be held in the Children’s Room.) All welcome and no registration is necessary.

Thursday, July 31, 2014:

• Shakespeare Under the Stars:  Much Ado About Nothing  (7:30 pm) @ Hopkinton Commons, downtown: Hopkinton Center for the Arts’ 3rd annual Shakespeare Under the Stars production by Enter Stage Left Theater. Free admission. The public is encouraged to bring chairs or blankets and even snacks or a picnic with you to find a spot and watch the show under the stars. Street parking is available.

Friday, August 1, 2014:

• The Golden Goose – free children’s play (1:00 pm) @ Westborough High School: SkyRise Children’s Theater production; Musical Parody of the classic tale. Click here for details.

• The Great Race – free children’s play (1:00 pm) @ 117 East Main St, Westborough: SkyRise Children’s Theater production; Musical Parody of the Tortoise and the Hare. Click here for details.
