Today, Southborough Police Department is warning motorists of the lousy road conditions out there:
The department has also shared its latest logs.
Most suspicious or dangerous activity reported resulted in “negative findings.” That seems to include a report of “possible” gunshot sounds on Sunday. Read about that and more below:
Friday, January 30, 2015:
- 0643 hrs- A medical was reported at a Madison Place residence.
- 0805 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
- 0807 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Northboro Road business.
- 0827 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
- 1345 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Flagg Road residence.
- 1400 hrs- An officer investigated a report of suspicious activity on Boston Road.
- 1544 hrs- An officer investigated a report of people on the ice in the middle of the reservoir. Responding units checked the area and reported back negative findings.
- 1613 hrs- An officer investigated a Hit & Run motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road.
- 1654 hrs- Southborough officers assisted Framingham police with their search for a Hit & Run suspect that could possibly be travelling through Southborough. Southborough officers reported back negative findings.
- 1750 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a High Street residence.
- 1844 hrs- An officer investigated a report of a person walking in the road on Main Street. The reporting party was worried that the person would be hit by a car. Officers checked the area and reported back that there was no sign of the individual.
- 2111 hrs- The DPW was called out to treat the roadways.
- 2206 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at the Trottier Middle School.
- 2228 hrs- An officer provided a civilian transport from the police station to a resident of North Street.
- 2313 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
- 2339 hrs- Officers checked the Boston Road area after receiving a report of an erratic operator in the area.
- 2349 hrs- An officer investigated a parking complaint on Waterview Terrace.
- 2355 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Boston Road business.
Saturday, January 31, 2015:
- 0655 hrs- DPW was called out to treat the roadways.
- 0705 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Boston Road business.
- 1837 hrs- An officer responded to Main Street to investigate a report of an erratic operator in the area. The operator was located and checked out ok.
- 1927 hrs- An officer assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
- 2304 hrs- An officer assisted a disabled motorist on Bridge Street.
- 2308 hrs- An officer investigated a report of a Hit & Run on Framingham Road. The accident is currently under investigation.
- 2337 hrs- An officer investigated a parking complaint on Waterview Terrace.
- 2358 hrs- Officers conducted a requested well-being check on a Turnpike Road resident.
Sunday, February 1, 2015:
- 1420 hrs- Officers investigated an alarm at a Valley Road residence.
- 1601 hrs- Officers investigated a report of possible gunshots in the area of Southville Road.
- 1638 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Cordaville Road.
- 1903 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Bantry Road.
- 2014 hrs- A Marlboro Road resident was civilly cited for marijuana possession after a motor vehicle stop on Marlboro Road.
- 2136 hrs- A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
- 2252 hrs- Police assisted a Red Gate Lane resident with a civil matter.
- 2302 hrs- A medical was reported at a Lyman Street residence.
