What’s more exciting to young baseball fans in town than Opening Day at Fenway? It’s Southborough’s own Opening Day ceremonies.
Southborough Little League’s annual festivities take place this Sunday, May 3rd at Mooney Field behind Finn School. And you don’t have to be in baseball to join in the fun. The whole community is invited.
The day begins for Little Leaguers at 8:00 am with pictures in uniform. Spectators are welcome for the annual parade and Opening Day Ceremony at 10:30 am.
Other festivities begin at noon. So, come on out to support youth baseball and enjoy:
- a BBQ cookout
- Baseball games
- a Silent Auction including Red Sox tickets, golf, wine and signed sports memorabilia
- the opening of “the snack shack”
