Not to be critical but in the caption of the picture it should be Wachusett not with an (s), and baseball or softball teams do not “face off”, that is a hockey term.
To be critical, the term “face off” is used for all sports and contests. It is defined in the dictionary as such.

There is also a Boys’ Rugby Game Tuesday (today!) at 4:30 at ARHS.
Algonquin lists Varsity Rugby, JV Rugby and Freshman Rugby. I only share the varsity schedule. However, I believe that those teams are the Girls teams.
Boys Rugby must not be part of the Midland Wachusett League, since Algonquin doesn’t include them in their sports schedule. (I think they compete through a club.) Therefore, I can’t track them. (I have the same issue with Cheerleading squad competitions.)
Editor-You may want to get out more. “Face-Off” is not representitive of a single sport. It merely stipulates teams are “playing” each other.
Thanks. That’s how I was using it. However, I’m no expert in that arena, so didn’t bother to argue the point. (And before editor responds, arena is meant figuratively. I know that Softball isn’t played in one!)
