[Editor’s Note: The workshop was cancelled due to a misunderstanding between the instructor and library. The instructor intended to hold an advanced language workshop for people who already know French.
(Apparently, I should have written “Voulez-vous parler le français mieux?”)]
The Southborough Library is hosting a 6-part workshop this summer for patrons who’d like to learn to speak French.
To register for the free series, sign up by June 4th. Sessions will begin on June 15th, but only if they have enough registrants:
French Workshop – June 15 – Registration Required!
Parlez-vous francais? Join Narcisse Esmaili, a native French speaker, for an instructional 6-week French Workshop offered on Monday and Wednesday afternoons in the library’s downstairs meeting room. While this group is aimed at individuals who have spoken French before, everyone is welcome to attend the first session.
Classes take place from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM on June 15th and end July 22. The instructor will be using a French textbook. The library will have a reference copy of the required book available for photocopying. School-age children are welcome to attend when accompanied by a parent, but these workshops are aimed at adults.
NOTE: If 10 people do not register, this series of workshops will be cancelled. The last day to register is June 4th. Please register online today or call the library at 508-485-5031 and speak with Kim or Ryan.
Updated (6/8/15 5:10 pm): Editor’s note above on workshop cancellation.
