It’s the second full day of summer vacation. Are you ready for someone to take your kids yet?
If you’re looking for something for the kids to do next week, Southborough Recreation is kicking off the summer camp season with several choices.
If your kids are excited by engineering with Legos, take advantage of the Lego “Super Hero” camps taking place next week only.
The half day Lego camps are for grades K-1 and 2-5. For more details, click thumbnail to enlarge.
Next week’s camps only run Monday – Thursday. That’s because Friday is the Federal work holiday in honor of 4th of July.
At Finn and Woodward half day camp, kids will be celebrating that holiday early during Stars and Stripes week:
In celebration of our country’s birthday, we will have a traditional 4th of July picnic with games and prizes. Put your patriotic spirit on display with some creative 4th of July crafts, decorate a birthday cake and make your own red, white and blue tshirts!
Woodward campers will also get a chance to swim in St. Mark’s pool.
There are still openings at both camps and for CITs for next week (and most weeks this summer). For more details, see the dedicated post.
For kids 6+ interested in learning golf or improving their game, there’s Junior Golf Camp at Juniper Hill. This camp will run weekly through August 21st.

For tennis enthusiasts, Jeff Beane is again offering Tennis Clinics through Rec for kids 7-12 and 9-13.
These will be held Monday – Thursday through the first week of August.
