Ila Bella/Rossi Estates begins clearing for construction Monday

Town Planner Jennifer Burney blogged an update on a project that’s been kicking around for a few years – Ila Bella, formerly known as Rossi Estates.

Back in 2009, Susan wrote about the project’s delay for financial reasons.

This week, Burney informed residents that work will begin work in a few days:

The Planning Board approved an eleven lot subdivision known as Ila Bella Estates (formerly known as Rossi Estates) located at the intersection of Breakneck Hill and Mt. Vickery Roads. The subdivision will consist of 10 single family homes and a duplex consisting of 2 affordable units that will count towards the State’s Subsidized Housing Inventory (SHI). 35.37% of the subdivision will be open space.

Beginning on Monday, August 24, 2015, the Developer (Bartolini Builders) will begin clearing the first 100′ or so of the road for a landing area to place construction. Next the road and infrastructure will be installed followed by the construction of the homes which is expected to begin in late November 2015.

Construction hours are limited to:
7am-6pm Mon-Fri
8am-5pm Sat
No work allowed on Sundays or holiday.

I did look at plans but can’t really tell how the entry/exit on the existing roads is going to work…and any effect on traffic waiting for the lights out onto Rte 9. But I haven’t paid attention and probably are answers to these…
