Southborough Rotary, a public service organization of business and professional leaders, is stepping up its presence in town. They’ve got a new website, a Twitter account, and starting tomorrow they’ll hold a new evening meeting once a month in addition to their weekly morning meetings.
“Unlike our regular morning meeting, we expect the evening meetings to be more social in nature. Besides being keenly interested in public service, we are all friends, so we are looking forward to meeting in a less formal setting where we can enjoy each other’s company without the normal time constraints of the morning meeting,” club president Pam O’Donnell said. “We hope that others who are interested in community service will stop by and get to know us and learn more about Rotary.”
Starting July 7th, the club will hold a meeting on the first Tuesday of each month at Owen O’Leary’s on Route 9 in Southborough at 6:30 pm.
Morning meetings are held each week on Tuesdays at 7:15 am until approximately 8:30 am at the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall.
