The Southborough Gardeners are promoting their annual scholarship. Applications are due Friday, April 8.
Take note if a student you know is planning to major in any of the following Arts or Sciences related to:
- Horticulture
- Floral Design
- Environmental Studies
- Ecology
- Conservation
- Agriculture
- Botany
- Landscape Architecture/Design
Here are the details:
Southborough Gardeners’ Scholarship
Once again, the Southborough Gardeners are offering a scholarship to be awarded to a student who has been accepted to a school of higher learning or is presently attending college, majoring in one of the following fields: Art, Sciences related to Horticulture, Floral Design, Environmental Studies, Ecology, Conservation, Agriculture, Botany, or Landscape Architecture/Design. To be eligible, the candidate must be a two year resident of Southborough and must demonstrate scholastic achievement and good citizenship. The amount of the award this year is $2000. The award may be divided between two qualified candidates at the discretion of the scholarship committee.
Applications are available at the Southborough Library. The deadline for submitting applications is April 8th, 2016. Applications may be found at the Southborough library
