Help place flags on the graves of Southborough’s veterans – May 27

Memorial Day is around the corner. As usual, the Town will be honoring the occasion with a parade and ceremony that Monday at 9:00 am. (More details in an upcoming post).

In advance of the day, American flags are placed/replaced on the graves of every Southborough veteran in tribute to their service to the country. The community is again invited to take part.

VFW Post 3276 and American Legion Post 161 will lead the traditional flag-placing on Friday, May 27 starting at 6:00 pm in the Rural Cemetery on Cordaville Road. All Southborough residents are invited to join them.

The group meets in front of the Maintenance Building at the back of the cemetery. (The work usually goes quickly, so try to get there on time!)
