If you own a dog in Southborough and it’s more than six months old, you need to get a license for it each year. Licenses for the past year expired on March 31st. But late fees don’t apply until June 1st. So, it’s not too late to to take care of it.

Or head over to the Town Clerk’s office and take care of it in person. (It closes at noon today, but opens again on Monday at 8:00 am and is open until 5:00 pm other weekdays, extended to 7:00 pm on Tuesdays.)
However you pay, you will also need to provide a record of your dog’s most-recent rabies vaccination.
A license costs $12 for dogs that are not spayed or neutered, and $8 for dogs that are. (If your dog is new to Southborough, you’ll need to provide a copy of the vet certificate showing that your dog has been spayed or neutered.) Payment is by cash or check only.
Beginning June 1st, a $10 late fee, plus penalties, will be charged for each dog not licensed.
