The brush fire earlier today isn’t all the work the Southborough Fire Department has been up to.
Facebook posts from the SFD share other incidents, including a Hazmat response. And Southborough Police shared on Facebook a welcome distraction. Plus, local media shared more news on yesterday’s car crash.
Southborough Wicked Local shared an update on that crash from Southborough Police:
Police have been unable to speak with the two Worcester residents injured in a head-on car crash Tuesday on Rte. 30 near the Interstate 495 overpass, Police Chief Ken Paulhus said.
Police say a Honda Civic driven by Stephen Osei-Bonsu, 30, appears to have veered over the center line, striking a Mitsubishi Outlander driven by Mary Farr-Quinn, 49.
Paulhus said it will likely take at least a week for police to be able speak with Osei-Bonsu. (Click here to read more.)
Meanwhile, the SPD posted news of the rescue of a Southborough resident of the non-human variety.
Yesterday afternoon, police added the following comment to update followers:
We spoke with Tufts today, and they advised us that the Hawk is doing very well and making good progress.
