If you’ve been jealous of all the animal programs in Town for the kiddies, no need to be any longer. One’s coming that’s geared for you, too.
The Southborough Open Land Foundation is bringing us a raptor expert in for a public show and tell. Tom Ricardi is a retired Fish and Game Warden with more than 30 years experience, is a licensed game rehabilitator and breeder.
Ricardi is the founder and operator of the Massachusetts Birds of Prey Rehabilitation Facility in Conway. He’ll be bringing some of his birds with him. Those include a barred owl, peregrine falcon, and golden eagle.
SOLF expects the presentation to be interesting and informative for adults as well as children.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, at 2:00 pm at the Southborough Library, on the main floor. No registration is necessary for the free public event.
