AVRTHS is holding a “Showcase” for 8th grade students and parents in two weeks.
The evening will showcase the high school’s technical and academic programs. The event will feature interactive demos, performances, and admissions info sessions. It’s also a chance to question faculty.
Here’s the announcement:
Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School will showcase the school’s college and career pathways on the December 6th, 2017. This evening provides future students and their parents to experience all that Assabet has to offer. “This is a great chance for 8th grade students to bring their parents in to see our programs in action, talk to teachers, and coaches, and absolutely feel the spirit that is Assabet. We really enjoy having an opportunity to showcase our 17 technical programs and the amazing work that our students do on a daily basis, said Mark Hollick, Principal of the school. I believe we have the perfect blend of academics and technical education that can prepare our students for both college and career. ”
The Showcase hours are 6 pm – 8:30 pm and there will be Admission Information Sessions throughout the evening. There will also be planned demonstrations and performances in various locations in the building. Staff and students will be available to answer questions and discuss the benefits of attending Assabet. Guaranteed to be a great night! Interested parents and students who cannot attend should contact Lauren Gonzalez at 508-485- 9430 x1250, to schedule a tour.
Admissions info sessions are scheduled for 6:00 pm, 6:45 pm (for out-of-district process) and 7:30 pm.
