Obituary: Paul J. McCarthy, 86

Paul J. McCarthy, 86, of Marlborough and formerly a long time resident of Southborough, died on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Metro West Medical Center in Framingham. He was the beloved husband of Jean (O’Connell) McCarthy for the past 66 years.

Paul was a hands on dad, whether it was taking his children on many memorable vacations to Florida, New Hampshire and Maine, teaching them his professional skills or helping them repair each home as each child bought them. Paul’s greatest joy was spending time with his family.
