Mary A. (Creasia) Braccio, of Southborough, formerly of Framingham died Thursday, February 1, 2018, peacefully, after a long, hard fought and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Uxbridge she was the daughter of the late Nicholas & Theresa (Merolli) Creasia, and the beloved wife of the late Robert J. “Rocky” Braccio.
Raised and educated in the Uxbridge and Mendon area, Mary and Rocky settled in Framingham in 1964 where they raised their children. Mary worked as a CNA with the Visiting Nurses of So. Middlesex until her retirement in 1999. In her later years, she enjoyed running the flower shack on the corner of School and Concord Streets in Saxonville with Rocky, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her children, Matthew & his wife Lisa, and Barbara all of Southborough, her grandchildren, Nicholas and Jacob DeMarco, and Robert, her siblings, Jimmy, Louie, John, Francis, Vera, Jackie, and Theresa, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Nicholas, Joseph, Eleanor, Matthew, and babies Joseph and Molly.
Family and friends will honor and remember Mary’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham, on Monday, February 5th from 9:30 – 11:15 A.M. Her funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 11:30 A.M. Interment will be private.
