If you’re feeling down in the dumps about last night’s big game, maybe turning your attention to local sports can boost your spirits.
Algonquin sports announced that Boys Ice Hockey’s latest win qualified them for upcoming post season tournaments.
I’ve heard that Gonk Gymnastics has been dominating their field this winter, including another win over the weekend. You can watch them in action at their league meet this weekend.

And just over a week ago, Indoor Track’s Tess Reyes finished 3rd in the 1000m at the State Coaches with a school record 3:03.99. The Girls team (along with the Boys) will compete in a district meet on Saturday.
