Yes, there’s lots of shoveling, and snow blowing, and roof scraping going on today after a blizzard that dumped more than 25 inches of snow in Southborough. The flakes are falling in Southborough, and by the time all is said and done on Saturday, forecasters say we may have upwards of 2 feet on the ground. Governor Deval Patrick has declared a state of emergency, and for the first time since the Blizzard of ’78, has ordered all cars off the road starting at 4:00 pm today. The Metrowest Daily News reports a car drove on Kallander Field sometime on Sunday night, the second such incident since mid-January. The ground was too hard on Sunday for the car to cause any damage, but that was not the case last month when a car left tire marks and ruts on the field.
