The Southborough Open Land Foundation asked me to share a couple of news items. One is highlights from from their recent annual meeting where they reviewed accomplishments and gave out the annual Elaine Beals Conservation Award.

Earlier this month, the Southborough Food Pantry added more community members in need to their “client” list. As of mid-May, they are serving “200 people and counting” which they described as the highest number they have had “in quite a long time”.

The Tricentennial Committee is seeking a wide variety of performers to participate in the “Southborough Tricentennial Spectacular” in August 2027. To get the ball rolling on planning the day, they are hoping performers will submit their interest by the end of next month.
