Southborough resident’s discovery makes troops safer
While on tour in Iraq, Southborough native Jason Cox developed a technique for detecting improvised explosives that uses infrared imaging. The technique allows troops to identify roadside bombs from a safer distance. Cox was recently honored for his work with the US Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
