In a post about committee vacancies earlier this week, I noted that the Town would need to fill a seat on the Elementary School Building Committee. On Tuesday night, the Select Board decided that they need a volunteer with relevant experience in engineering, construction or design of buildings.
There is a volunteer waiting in the wings. But a Select Board member highlighted that his appointment might create an “optics issue”. His joining would make the majority of the committee former members of the Neary Building Committee. The Zoning Board of Appeals issued its written decision approving the permit for a 40B housing development southwest of the corner of Route 9 and Parkerville Road.
The project proposes 32 new townhouses behind the Beehive building and contractor’s yard. The ZBA’s decision included several conditions to mitigate impacts on the Town and abutters. Read the full article → from 250 Turnpike Rd 40B development approved with conditions
