A celebrity-narrated video and magazine detail more of NECC's work and progress over the past 50 years (and soon-to-be 40 years in Southborough).

This week, NECC issued a 50th Anniversary Edition of their magazine “Insight”. It included more details chronicling the 50 years of work and progress. It also spotlights the “nearly 100” employees who have worked at the center for more than 20 years and why they stay.

Prepare for snow storm with “Major Impacts” on Sunday (Updated)

NWS lists Southborough as likely to get at least a foot of snow and experience hazardous driving conditions. And brace for a longer term chill.

The National Weather Service’s latest updates for this Sunday’s storm show an 80-90% chance that Southborough will experience “Major Impacts” and times when driving is “Dangerous or impossible”.

Select Board continues to debate Neary & other school Feasibility Study Articles

The Select Board is still working out their specific asks for voters at the March 2nd Special Town Meeting. Voters will directly decide whether or not to pay to fix Neary School’s failing roof and proposed steps to addressing the future of Southborough public school buildings.

The Town Meeting is part of a multi-stage plan for short and long term solutions to dealing with the aging Neary building. Tuesday night, board members continued to clash on some details as they hash out their approach for this next big step.
