Southborough has always had an impressive showing at the Boston Marathon, and this year is no exception. On Monday, April 15, twenty-four Southborough residents will don a bib a run for themselves and for causes they hold dear. Southborough youth to compete in district free throw championship on Thursday
Back in January, about 50 Southborough boys and girls ages 10 through 14 participated in the annual Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competition at Trottier Middle School. Christopher Weigl was Eagle Scout, promising photographer
Southborough is mourning the loss today of Christopher Weigl, the 23-year-old Boston University student who was killed in a bicycle accident in Boston yesterday. Weigl grew up in Southborough and earned the rank of Eagle Scout at age 14. He graduated from Skidmore College and was attending BU to pursue a masters in photojournalism. He played the clarinet.
