A Boston University graduate student from Southborough died this morning in an accident on Commonwealth Avenue in Boston. Twenty-three year old Christopher Weigl was killed when his bicycle collided with a tractor-trailer as the vehicle was making a turn onto Saint Paul Street. Donations from Southborough arrive in hurricane-battered New Jersey

Earlier today a tractor trailer pulled into Toms River, New Jersey. In it were blankets, water, food, diapers, and other necessities to help a township ravaged by Hurricane Sandy. Doing good: Trottier student raises awareness of world hunger

Trottier sixth grader Kaasinath Balagurnath wants to make a difference in the fight against world hunger. While a fifth grader at Neary, Kaasinath created a team on the UN-sponsored website freerice.com, where he and his fellow students answered trivia questions to earn donations of rice for those in need.
