MWDN: State calls Southborough man mastermind of brother’s murder
The murder trial of Southborough resident Treefon Manoloules got underway with opening statements at Barnstable District Court yesterday. Manoloules is charged with the 2009 slaying of his brother Aris in Hyannis. Treefon’s 19-year-old son and brother-in-law are also charged in the case. Earlier this month, a group of six Southborough women teamed up to run 100 miles in a single day as part of Vermont’s 100 on 100 relay race. They did it for the physical challenge.
