School Committees’ discussion on handling religious holidays
Preliminary options presented to the Combined School Committee for next year’s calendars being considered cover the range of adding more religious holiday observances to eliminating them all together. Last week, Algonquin celebrated seniors who secured commitments to play in college Division 1-3 athletics next year. And this week, the school will host a ceremony to celebrate alumni, former coaches and athletic boosters for earning a place in ARHS Athletics’ Hall of Fame.
