Reminder: Scouting for Food is a week from Saturday
The annual town wide collection for the Food Pantry is coming up at a time when it may be especially needed.
Town scouts will be picking up contributions for the Southborough Food Pantry from neighborhoods all over town in a few weeks. Given the timing of issues with SNAP benefit programs, this comes at a time when pantry clients may be especially in need of community support. SPD: 2 yr old child struck by car in crosswalk on Saturday; Driver will be “cited”
The Southborough Police Department issued a press release about a toddler hit by a car while using the crosswalk with his father on Saturday morning. According to the release, the child’s injuries were “non-life threatening”. The crosswalk appears to the the one between St. Mark’s Church and Fay School.
