A limited seat fundraiser for the Southborough Historical Society's building project will be hosted at 84 Main St

The Southborough Historical Society is using a “Classical Christmas Concert to raise funds for the History and Arts Center they are seeking to open in Fayville Village Hall.

Catching up on restoration work and revised plans for private home with occasional events

Updates on Planning Board hearings: Fayville Hall (with bonus Burnett House news) and 2 E Main (not mixed-use) (Updated)

Trails easier to enjoy: Eagle Scout enhancements on SRT include historic details; new parking map; and improved website

The Southborough Trails Committee (STC) asked me to share some thank yous and some news. Most of it relates to the Sudbury Reservoir Trail. But it’s also worth noting that it’s now easier to find information of all of the Town’s trails. Historical Commission reassuring public about coming tree removals at Burnett House

The Historical Commission is warning residents to expect a “substantial amount of tree removal” at 84 Main Street in coming weeks. But the message is intended to reassure that what is being done is necessary, and will work out in the long run. (And that the “stars” of the property will remain standing, with just minor pruning.)
