Two magazines posted their updated rankings for best public high schools last week. Algonquin Regional fared well this year — though not as well as it initially appeared in one of the magazines. This spring both U.S News & World Report and the website Niche released their rankings for public high schools. Algonquin’s rankings went up slightly in both. This month, Newsweek posted rankings of the Best STEM high schools. (STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathmatics.)
