Weather-related crash on Cordaville Road
Monday’s snow contributed to a crash on Cordaville Road (Route 85) near the entrance to the St. Mark’s Golf Course. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries when her car crashed into a guardrail. More pictures are available on the Southborough Fire Department website. Roads were slick yesterday
We didn’t see much in terms of quantity from yesterday’s snowfall, but it was still enough to cause problems on the roads. The Southborough Fire Department responded to two weather-related accidents yesterday afternoon. Only minor injuries were reported. Did you lose power tonight?
We did, for about an hour from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and apparently we weren’t alone. When the power came back on, I checked the National Grid Storm Center website and 767 customers in Southborough were still without power. The thermometer at my house reads 21 degrees. That on it’s own is chilly enough, but factor in the wind and it’s downright bitter. According to weather.com, the wind is blowing at 18 mph.
