A total of five different town committees hold meetings tonight. Here are some of the topics they’ll cover.
- The Zoning Board of Appeals tackles the Woodland Meadows 40B … again. Tonight’s meeting is a continuation of a public hearing from last month. The Conservation Commission has concerns about the proposed 4-story condo development and has asked the ZBA not to waive permits for the project. The ZBA meets at 7:30 pm in the Town House Hearing Room.
- The Municipal Facilities Commission will hold a public hearing on options for the new police station. There are currently two options in play: a new one-story building abutting the fire station, and a remodel and extension of the existing building. The Facilities Commission meets at 6:30 pm in the Fire Station Meeting Room.
- The Advisory Committee has several topics on their agenda, including ways to increase attendance at Town Meeting, plans for a new ladder truck, and the FY2010 budget. The Advisory Committee meets at 7:30 pm at the Senior Center.
Also meeting tonight are the Cultural Arts Council (7:15 pm at the Senior Center) and the Historical Commission (7:00 pm at Memorial Hall in the Fire Station).
