Registration officially ended last week, but there are still a few spots left in the Algonquin Youth Wrestling Clinic that starts this week. Sponsored by the Algonquin wrestling team, the clinic is open to kids in grades 5 through 8. Here’s a description:
Through high energy, fun-filled sessions your child will learn amateur wrestling techniques as well as develop balance, flexibility, coordination, body awareness and self-confidence. Sessions will be run by the Algonquin High School Coaching Staff. Wrestling Tournaments will be available throughout the season for interested wrestlers.
The program runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from December 2 through February 10. Tuition is $140. Find more information on the registration form.
