Under Governor Charlie Baker’s order, flags across the state have been flying at half staff in honor of late State Senator Thomas P. Kennedy since June 29, 2015. The order has been updated to raise flags to full mast at sunset today.
The flags will be lowered to half staff again sunrise to sunset on Monday, July 13, 2015. This time the honor is for First Sergeant Dennis J. Sparrow, Massachusetts Army National Guard, of Wareham, MA who died on July 6, 2015. Click here for more information.
