  • Professional Development – No School : No School for K-12 Northborough and Southborough public school students
  • Super Tuesday Primary voting (6:30 am – 8:00 pm) @ Trottier Middle School, Gym, 49 Parkerville Road: For details, see dedicated post.
  • Crafternoon: Creative Journaling (4:00 – 6:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Room: Does your library have a group of young authors or writers? This creative workshop invites kids and teens to think about their past, future and present as they design pages of their journal. For Ages 10 & Up. Please pre-register here. This program is made possible by a grant from the Southborough Community Fund, a fund of the Foundation For Metrowest. For details, see dedicated post.
  • ARHS Spring Athletic Night (6:30 – 7:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School, auditorium, 79 Bartlett St, Northborough: Mandatory meeting for student athletes participating in spring sports. (Optional for parents.) The athletic department and coaches outline school and league rules, regs and procedures.

  • NSPAC General Meeting (10:00 – 10:30 am) @ Northborough Library, small conference room, 34 Main Street, Northborough: The Northborough Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council monthly meeting. Followed by informal social/support group will meet after the meeting as time allows. This is an open meeting and all are welcome to attend, however, please use the proper channels to discuss any individual IEP or 504 concerns. For more information see www.nspac.org
  • Jazz Night with Guest Artist (7:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School: ARHS hosts its annual concert featuring ARHS Jazz bands, the ARHS Jazz Chorus, and the jazzbands from Melican and Trottier. They will perform with a returning special guest, Brian Thomas – a trombonist, composer, educator and leader of the BT ALC Big Band.

  • Info “Stop By” on Noise Bylaw Article (10:30 am – 12:30 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center, Kitchen Area, 9 Cordaville Road: Swing by to get info and ask questions about the Citizen Petition Article proposal to pass a Noise Bylaw at Annual Town Meeting. (You can find the Article petitioners signed here.) See flyer right.
  • Legos at the Library (3:45 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Public Library, Eaton Room: Children are welcome to come build with Legos, and display their creations in the Children’s Room. This activity is recommended for children ages 4 and up. Legos will be provided, but all materials need to remain at the library. Parents or caregivers must stay with children during this event. 

  • Tomato Growing (7:00 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: Presented by the Blackstone Valley Veggie Gardens. “Without question, tomatoes are the number one home garden crop. We will teach you the best ways to maximize your harvest.” Program will be filmed by Southborough Access Media. Sponsored by The Friends of the Southborough Library. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Preschool Storytime Yoga (10:30 am – 11:30 am) @ Southborough Library: Children ages 3-6 can hear a story and learn different yoga poses throughout this fun program that gets everybody moving and learning at the same time!   • Day of Unplugging (5:45 pm): Southborough Youth and Family Services is asking our community to participate in the sundown-to-sundown “Unplug” event. Power down your devices and reconnect with your world. Play board games, make dinner plans with friends, do arts and crafts, make time to play outside! For details, see dedicated post.
